英文though/although用法(Usage of though/although in English)

英文中，though和although都是表示｢雖然...、儘管...」的意思，但although較為正式，而though則在口語中較常用，可置於句首或子句句首，而though另外可置於句中或句末。
Though/Although +S1(主詞 )+V1(動詞), S2(主詞 )+V2(動詞).
=S2(主詞 )+V2(動詞), though/although +S1(主詞 )+V1(動詞).

※注意：though和although都不能和but連用(也就是一個句子中只能有一個連接詞)。
Though it was raining heavily, my father insisted on waling to the factory.(雖然下著大雨，我父親仍堅持步行去上班)
=Although it was raining heavily, my father insisted on waling to the factory.(雖然下著大雨，我父親仍堅持步行去上班)
Though it was raining heavily, but my father insisted on waling to the factory.

另外，though可以做為副詞使用，意為｢但是...、不過...」，通常置於句末。
Tom intended to study hard. He sleeps and plays video game all day long ,though. (Tom打算用功念書，不過他仍整天睡覺和玩電動)
