英文指示代名詞(Demonstrative pronouns in English)

英文中的this、that、these、those、such(就是)、neither(兩者都不)為指示代名詞

指示代名詞用法
1.當作主詞：This is a car and that is a house.(這是車子，那是房子)
2.用來代替前面的句子：Mark got a good grade. This made her mother happy.(Mark拿到好成績，這讓他媽媽很開心)
3.表示時間上的先後，this/these表達時間較近的或現在發生的，that/those表達時間較遠的或過去發生的：This party is interesting. That party was boring.(這個派對很有趣，但之前那個很無聊)
4.that、those可以表示句子出現過的名詞：The water in the mountains is cleaner than that in the cites.(山中的水比城市的還乾淨)
5.this/these可以表示句子中並列兩事物中的後者，that/those表示前者：I like both candies and French fries; those are sweet, these are salty.(我喜歡糖果和薯條，糖果是甜的，薯條是鹹的)

注意：this/that/these/those當主詞的問句，答句需要用it代替this或that，they代替these或those
例如：Is this a eraser? Yes, it is.(這個是橡皮擦嗎? 是，它是)
當this/that/these/those是指｢人｣時，之後提到那個｢人｣，要用代名詞he/she/they

例如：Is that your sister? Yes, she is.(那是你的姊姊嗎? 是，她是)
