英文so far用法(Usage of so far in English)

so far的意思為｢到目前為止｣，通常用於修飾完成式時態的動詞，與to date意思相同；而until now的用法則是指「在此之前」，表達先前的一個狀態，意思剛好與so far相反。
S+V...+so far.
=So far, S+V... .
The plan has gone smoothly so far. (計畫到目前為止進行得很順利)
=So far, the plan has gone smoothly.
=The plan has gone smoothly to date.
=To date, the plan has gone smoothly.

S+V...+until now.
Until now, S+V... .
=The plan has gone smoothly until now. (在此之前，計畫進行得很順利→代表計畫現在進行得不順利)
=Until now, the plan has gone smoothly.
