英文形容詞比較級(Comparative in English)

英文比較級用於在兩者之間做比較時，下表為形容詞原級改成形容詞比較級的方法。

單音節：原級加-er	small→smaller、strong→stronger
形容詞字尾為e，原級加-r	wise→wiser、cute→cuter
形容詞字尾是｢短母音+子音｣，重複字尾子音加-er	hot→hotter、thin→thinner、big→bigger
形容詞字尾是｢子音+y｣，去掉原級字尾y，加上-ier	busy→busier、easy→easier、heavy→heavier
多音節形容詞，在形容詞前加上more或less	beautiful→more beautiful、expensive→more expensive、important→more important

比較級為不規則變化的形容詞

good(好的)	better	bad(壞的)	worse
many/much(許多)	more	little(少的)	less

以下為比較級的相關句型：

1.A+be動詞+形容詞比較級+than+B(+be動詞)。例如：John is shorter than me/I (am). (John比我矮)備註：較常使用than me或than I am

2.A+be動詞+the+形容詞比較級+of the two (+名詞複數)。例如：This bag is the cheaper of the two bags.(這個包包是兩個中比較便宜的。)

3.與which或who連用，Which/Who+be動詞+形容詞比較級,A or B? Which is better, coffee or tea?(咖啡和茶哪個比較好?)

4.可用much/even/a lot/a little修飾比較級。例如：This is a little bigger than that one.(這個比那個大一點)
