Whether可引導｢是否…｣的子句，whether所引導的子句可以當主詞或受詞用

1.當主詞或主詞補語

Whether Jay passes the exam is important to his mother.(Jay是否通過考試對他媽媽而言很重要)

2.當受詞

Alex does not remember whether Ben is a teacher.(Alex不記得Ben是否是一位老師)
