英文How many與How much用法(Usage of how many and how much in English)

How many用於詢問可數名詞的數量，而How much詢問不可數名詞的數量。問句可以用be動詞或助動詞形成問句。

1.用be動詞形成問句

How many+複數名詞+are there? There is/are…	How many cars are there in the parking lot?(停車場有多少車?) There are about 50 cars.(約50部車)
How much+不可數名詞+is there…?	How much water is there in the bucket?(桶子裡有多少水?) There is about 2 gallon.(約2加侖)

2.用助動詞形成問句

How many+複數名詞+do/does+主詞+動詞…?	How many cellphones do you have?(你有多少支手機?) I have 2 cellphones.(我有兩支手機)
How much+不可數名詞+do/does+主詞+動詞…?	How much water do you need?(你需要多少水?) 2 gallon.(2加侖)
